Responsibilities
Development of educational activities and implementation of cross-cutting projects in rural schools to foster skill development in one or more of the following areas:

Implement and coordinate extracurricular sports and artistic activities to:
Strengthen soft skills
Promote community leadership
Facilitate workshops and provide psychosocial support in:
Emotional management
Risk prevention and care for children, adolescents, and youth

Two volunteer positions available
Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of an environmental education strategy focused on water conservation and sustainable tourism, aimed at visitors, schools, locals, and businesses
Participation and leadership in community and school cleanup events for responsible waste management and circular economy
Development of cultural exchange activities to promote solidarity tourism and support the foundation's Spanish school/English teaching
Participation in bioconstruction and carpentry activities to:
Adapt the rural headquarters in La Tagua
Renovate the volunteer house
Plant, design productive gardens, and harvest organic fruits
Design interpretive trails and birdwatching spaces
Animal health & welfare
In-person position
One volunteer position available
Responsibilities:
Collaboration with local veterinarians and animal welfare organizations to conduct health and sterilization campaigns in rural communities or support the local shelter in Minca
Development of educational activities on responsible pet ownership and the importance of sterilization as a conservation measure, focused on youth and children

In-person or online positions
One volunteer position for Administration, Grant Writing & Fundraising, and one volunteer position for Communication available
Responsibilities:
Research funding opportunities and write grant proposals or applications for resource management, including narratives and budgets
Draft correspondence with funders, such as thank-you letters and updates and assist in networking and relationship management with funders
Assist in creating and refining project budgets and ensure all costs are accurately reflected in proposals
Track grant deadlines and submission status
Assist in preparing interim and final reports for funders
Organize fundraising campaigns or events (in-person or virtual) for the foundation
Work on recording indicators, measuring impact, and evaluating results
Provide administrative and accounting assistance
Coordinate the foundation's external communication through social media and the website
Collect photographic and film material, graphic design, and video production to:
Document the foundation's activities
Promote the organization’s programs and events
What We Look For in Our Volunteers
Languages: Basic Spanish
Volunteers can take a Spanish course at our school, both virtually and in person before starting their volunteer work

* Be prepared to be without internet connection or have limited access to certain public services like electricity and water at times
Minimum Participation Time:
Spanish speaking volunteers - 5 weeks
Non-Spanish speaking volunteers - 8 weeks
*For Education and Livelihood Program volunteers - 10 weeks
