Children in rural areas are behind in their education due to the government's decision of not prioritizing these marginalized territories. They also suffer from domestic relationships like poverty and violence. Therefore it’s important to create an open space for them, allowing them to be children. Investing in their education is investing in the future of our plane.
We are currently looking for interns to support our Education projects.

At Misión Gaia, the Tagua Diversa Bird Guide is more than a booklet—it is the result of a living learning process led by young people from La Tagua. Through our birdwatching club, students explore their territory with curiosity and purpose, learning to identify species, understand their behaviors, and recognize the deep connection between biodiversity and community wellbeing. By combining field experiences, creativity, storytelling, and design, youth become authors of their own knowledge—transforming observation into conservation. This guide reflects their voices, their discoveries, and their commitment to protecting the ecosystems they call home, while building skills for sustainable livelihoods rooted in avitourism and environmental stewardship.
